SafeLink Wireless: COMPLETELY FREE Cell Phone & Minutes Every Month!

Sound too good to be true? Well, it's not, because I personally use this service! There are no fees, contracts or credit checks. (Find out how you can get free bonus minutes below). Now, some conditions do apply.

SafeLink Wireless is a government assisted program, so you need to meet some requirements:

You already participate in other State or Federal assistance program such as Federal Public Housing Assistance, Food Stamps and Medicaid.
OR
Your total household income is at or below of the poverty guidelines set by your State and/or the Federal Government.

Keep in mind, you will have to show proof of your program participation or income level.

As I said earlier, I use this service. I'm not proud to say it, but I did qualify for it. I received a FREE phone in the mail and it came loaded with minutes. I gotta be honest, the phone isn't a great internet-capable phone or anything. But I do get great service on it, and it does what it's supposed to. Every month on the 1st or 2nd, I get 68 ROLLOVER minutes loaded onto my phone, for FREE! I've been using SafeLink for almost 3 years now, with no problems.

There are 3 plans to choose from. I use the lowest plan. It has the least amount of minutes, but the texting charges cost less, and I find I do more texting than talking. I can tell you though, that I have never run out of minutes. The 2nd plan comes with 125 minutes, but texting charges are higher. The 3rd plan has a whopping 250 minutes, but it is the only plan that doesn't have rollover minutes. So depending on your needs, you can pick the perfect plan for yourself. You can compare the plans below, and I included my info on the screenshot to show that I do use the service :)

You will also receive one of the 3 phones shown!
Even if you already have a cell phone plan, you can still get the free phone and minutes if you qualify. It's never a bad idea to have an extra phone!

I've been meaning to check this out for awhile now, I just seem to forget all the time. But when I saw your post, I went and looked into it. I qualifed! I'm not to ashamed to say, I'd rather get a FREE phone and FREE minutes then paying every month. This will save my husband and I a good deal of money, that will go somewhere more useful now! Thank so much for reminding me!

Wow this is really interesting. Not only because I totally could use this (I can't afford a cell phone either) but it also shows how much having a cell phone has become a necessity! If it qualifies as a sort of "welfare." Thanks- I'm going to go check it out now.
