My Opinion
I received the Start Me Up! Car Keys to review. (Well, my son did!) This is one of two new toys from the Parents line designed for children 6+ months. It features a soft, crinkly material that my son loves! It also has 4 buttons that can be pressed to make fun sounds (car horn, ignition, and door lock and unlock sounds). My son's favorite sound was definitely the car horn. The simple "beep beep" always got his attention. The keys are made of a hard, yet soft, plastic material that makes it perfect for teething babies like him. Each key has nubs on it to massage their little gums. I found him chewing away on them MANY times!
The only downside was that my baby found it a little difficult to press the sound buttons himself. I think that's just because he had just turned 6 months old, and has yet to realize what he can do with his hands! The sounds did go off quite a few times while he was playing with them though. He loved just holding them and hearing the crinkling sound of it.
After letting my son play with the toy for a week, I can safely say that he thoroughly enjoyed it! It was easy for him to hold and get it to "crinkle", and he loved chewing on the keys. This is a product I would recommend :)
***Win It!***
