3. Receive contributions: Contribute yourself and invite family and friends to also contribute. Mom and Grandma are perfect suspects to hit up for tuition contributions - they love it.

Funds are stored in an insured and safe FDIC account until you link your GradSave account to your college savings plan, then you grow the plan tax free in a 529 or other state plan. In the meantime, it's just time to share your profile and start saving!
