Wow! Have you heard of the new social networking site, Zurker, yet? I just did and can I say that what I know of it so far, I'm am highly impressed! Not only do we, as founding members, actually become co-owners of the company, but it is completely member-driven. What does this mean? For example, do you loathe the new Timeline on Facebook? Not only that, but are you mad that they are forcing everyone to use it? Well, if Zurker ever wanted to implement a feature like the Timeline, they would poll Zurker members and let them decide if they want it or not!
Here's a little information on how the ownership works:
Zurker is the only social network owned by its members. Not only do you own your content on Zurker, you own part of the actual social network itself! Members get vShares (a stake of ownership, or equity). As more and more people use Zurker and the project grows, your stake in Zurker becomes more valuable.
