SmartMouth ACF Mouthwash Review

I had the opportunity to try out a new mouthwash product, SmartMouth Advanced Clinical Formula Mouthwash. Before I get on with my review, here's a little information about the product.

SmartMouth ACF has been clinically proven to prevent bad breath for up to 12 hours, that's 11 hours longer than any of the other leading brands of mouthwash! It uses a patented, dual-solution technology. This means that the two solutions are kept separate until just before using. It not only kills bad breath germs, but also has anti-gingivitis and anti-plaque benefits. These two extra ingredients can help prevent gum disease and other tooth problems, such as bleeding gums and loose teeth.

As long as you are at least 6 years old, you can use this product. It is safe for diabetics as well. There is no alcohol in this mouthwash and unbelievably, mouthwashes that DO contain alcohol have been linked to oral cancer...that's scary!

My Opinion

When I received my product, I couldn't wait to start using it. The instructions are clearly written on the bottle. There are 2 solutions that have to be mixed immediately before using it. Even though each bottle says "Solution 1" and "Solution 2", I'm sure it doesn't matter which one you pump out first, but just do the "1" first. The first solution is clear like water, whereas the second is a very light green. You simply pump 5 squirts of each solution into the little cup it comes with.

It has a nice light minty scent to it, and the taste is the same. It's not overpowering at all, and the thing that surprised me the most was that it didn't burn AT ALL like other mouthwashes. This is due to the fact that there's no alcohol in it. 

I use it twice a day, when I wake up and before I go to bed. It truly does leave my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. My teeth feel smooth after I use it. My mouth feels clean for quite a while after use. It has no funky aftertaste or chalky feeling.

I have been using SmartMouth now for about a week, and I can already tell it's working. (It may take up to 2 weeks to get optimal results). But I'm not the only one who's been using it. My fiance and 9-year-old daughter have been using it as well. I have to be honest and say that I have turned away from my fiance when he's leaned in for a kiss on quite a few occasions, but since he's been using this mouthwash, I have not had to do that a single time, which is great! And it is wonderful that my daughter can use this. It was nearly impossible to get her to use mouthwash before because it burned her mouth so much. But now I can send her to school in the morning and be sure that she won't offend any of her classmates with stinky breath!

My final word on this product is that I haven't found a single thing I don't like about it. It's very easy to use, and it WORKS! I have to add SmartMouth ACF to my list of "Highly Recommended Products"!
